The Water:

We sit above one of Idaho's coldest and purest aquifers.  The water goes straight from the ground to brewery, with only mild filtration necessary.

The Location:

​

The brewery sits in a meadow amongst pines and wildlife, just 1.5 miles from the town of Elk River, Idaho.  To its north and east are Bitterroot Mountains.  To its west is the great grain-growing region of the Palouse.  To the south the Snake and Salmon rivers and the Lewis-Clark valley.  Many come up here to enjoy and celebrate the best of what Idaho has to offer...wilderness, huckleberries, fishing and hunting, and now really good beer.

The Brewing System:

We brew on a 10 bbl system fabricated by Marks Metalworks & Design out of Vancouver, WA.  Made with all American steel and steam jacketed.  Currently in use are four 12 bbl uni-tank fermenters and a 12 bbl brite tank.  Additionally we acquired a brand new ABE canning line in 2021 that can crank out cans up to 35/minute.

The Building:

​

Built in 2001, it was initially intended to be used as a water-bottling facility.  Instead the facility was relocated and eventually became an ideal place for a brewing production facility to be housed.  With its proximity to Elk Creek Falls and the highway, it's perfect for the hiker or traveler to easily find, and for large amounts of grain to come to or fro.

What You Will Find Here:

The brewery is first, and foremost, a production facility.  It has no restaurant, but has a row of taps and a small tasting room sitting among giant stainless-steel vessels.  We have an outdoor seating area so you can sit outside, look at the trees, and enjoy some pints....the way it should be.
